He's so cute!! He reminds me of Henry, a dog who lived with us for a short time years ago. A groomer my Mom and I knew called one day and asked if we'd take the dog. Someone had brought him in to be groomed and wouldn't let the groomer get anywhere near him. When he called the people they said they didn't want him. (nice folks, huh?) Anyway, the groomer called me to see if I would take him. If I couldn't he was going to call the pound. So how could I say no?!
The poor dog was so terrified that all we could do was carry him and the cage to my car. He was filthy and terribly matted. I brought him in side (cage and all) and sat it down in the kitchen, opened the door, and sat on the floor. After a while Henry (his new name!) jumped out of the cage and onto my lap and started licking my face. He turned out to be an absolute doll. Unfortunately he didn't like the fact that he was the only dog in the house and ate the couch - literally! We'd wake up in the morning and find huge chunks of foam all over the living room floor, and what he didn't leave on the floor, he ate.
Henry went to live with one of my Mom's coworkers and they he absolutely adored them and they adored him. His story had a very happy ending.
Sorry to get so long winded, but your little guy's picture just brought back some very fond memories of my little guy Henry!
