Greetings, My two sons adopted a Beagle pup through PetSmart via
a dog rescue shelter. They had just rescued several puppies from a puppy mill! We had been treating her with antibiotics since the day we brought her home! We were told she had bronchitis. We took her to the rescue lady and our Veterinarian because she was breathing well and coughing a lot. Daisy ended up more than two hours away from our home at the Veterinary School Animal Hospital. Lung tissue among other tests confirmed distemper. She wasn't given very good odds. Well, she survived and is now almost five months old and thriving. To say the least, she is spoiled!
