Home Improvement

I know I have been MIA lately and haven't been posting much on the blog. I'm in the middle of a home improvement project....my poor dogs have been spending a lot of time at my in-laws to keep them out of harms way, and my fish tank is now in my kitchen....and no, I am not going to cook them as one of my coworkers suggested.

Projects are not only stressful to people, but our pets suffer too, so it is important to take good care of them during any time of major change.

Thanks for reminding all of us, I'm making a trip with my dog soon, he's used to these by now but still it's stressful for him and me. Especially since he freaks if he can't touch me.

I might be trying to teach my grandmother to suck eggs, but do you know you have to be very careful that your fishtank doesn't absorb chemicals from any painting or staining work being done?

You could always make the fish tank a feature in the kitchen, by building this into the wall?

A friend of mine has done this and found this very relaxing when they are cooking in there brand new kitchen.

With the building project though, just focus on a small part at a time.

And take the dog for regular walks,.

I might once, announced he, with his faint grin. A shrewd dame is worth her weight in bronze! He sank back calmly with a sigh and blocked his sights, subsequently immediately roused himself.
