Do you know what one of the secrets to cat happiness is... it is PLAY! (It makes us humans happy, right?).
As a matter of fact, researchers at Stanford University reported there is a part of the human brain that is activated by play. The research was done in humans and not in cats (that's a change!), for any one that has seen a cat play knows that all their senses seem to perk up.
What kind of games do you like to play with your cats?

My cat is a mouser and a gopherer. Her "play" is deadly serious even when it is a ball of yarn. It's kind of scary. I'm glad i'm larger.
My childhood kitty would leave us pigeon "gifts" (open, no less...)and we lived on the 18th floor! He wasn't into playing with humans or in front of 'em - he did that on the sly during the night. He would gnaw on a squeaky sheep toy of all things! I find the cat's personality has a lot to do with their playtime. My parents' current cat is a LOT more of a kitten and likes to play with things that rustle - and the first toy he played with when he came home from the shelter is his favorite!

Could it be just me personally or even tend to be many of these comments not so unique. It's as if people cannot think for themselves anymore, possibly that or even someone left their cat on the pc when they were away.
